Protection of Wildlife is necessary for maintaining ecological balance : marawi

Bhopal: Minister of State for Forests Shri Jaisingh Marawi has said in his message on the occasion of Wildlife Protection Week that wild animals also roam outside National Parks and Sanctuaries in the state. I appeal to people to cooperate in giving protection to such wild animals and save them from poachers etc. People can extend their important contribution in this regard by giving information about poachers to the Forest or Police department. Shri Marawi said that protection of forests and wildlife is very important in maintaining ecological balance and ensuring survival of human race.

Shri Marawi said that not only works worth emulation are being carried out in the state wildlife protection, but full attention is also being paid to the large interests of forest dweller who are dependent on forests for their livelihood. Several effective steps have been initiated in Madhya Pradesh in the direction of wildlife protection, but these efforts will bear fruits only when people also extend their active cooperation in the work.
