Prohibitory Orders in Khategaon

Bhopal  —  Prohibitory orders were imposed in Khategaon after the death of 40-year-old man during Holi festivities. The deceased was attacked by members of another community after Holi revelry around a place of worship sparked tension in the area on Monday, reported PTI news agency.

Five others were wounded in the incident, they have been moved to Indore for treatment.

The district administration later clamped section 144, said the report and added that a huge police posse has been deployed in the area as a precautionary measure.

A case of murder has been registered and investigations are underway, it added.
