Pledge on birthday to improve life of state’s people: CM

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s birthday was celebrated with enthusiasm here today. Thousands of people from all walks of life, communities, organisations and workers extended birthday greetings to him.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that birthday is a day of resolve for him. He reiterates his resolve today to improve living condition of state’s people. Responding to birthday greetings, he said that greetings from state’s people and their trust in him are morale boosting for him. He will make every possible effort to live upto people’s trust. The State Government is the government of all sections but first of all of the poor and downtrodden section. The government is serving them. He said that with this in view it has bee decided to given land ownership rights to the poor people living by constructing shanties. Schemes have been chalked out to ensure that income of the poor increases and their living standard improves. He urged people for united efforts for state’s development and prosperity.

Party workers from various districts of the state also reached CM’s residence to extend birthday greetings to him. Representatives of all the religions, social organisations, communities, business organisations, financial institutions, local bodies. Journalists, Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Jainis, representatives of Brahma Kumar scoeity etc. presented bouquets and greeted the Chief Minister.
Greetings in Vidhan Sabha: Birthday greetings and best wishes were extended to Chief Minister Shri Chouhan in Vidhan Sabha today. Vidhan Sabha Speaker Shri Ishwardas Rohani wished long life and health for Shri Chouhan and he remain busy in public welfare works as ever. Vidhan Sabha Deputy Speaker Shri Harvansh Singh, Health Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra, Commerce & Industries Minister Shri Kailash Vijaywargiya, Leader of Opposition Chouhary Rakesh Singh, Public Health Engineering Minister Shri Gaurishankar Bisen, MLAs Shri Arif Aqeel, Shri Ramlakhan Singh, Shri Manvendra Singh, Shri Vishwas Sarang, Shri Rakesh Verma, Shri Shailendra Jain and Shri Yashpal Singh Sisodiya extended birthday greetings to Chief Minister Shri Chouhan in Vidhan Sabha.
Expressing gratitude, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that he is totally committed to ensuring state’s development and welfare of its people. He will make every possible effort for fulfilling people’s aspirations. He will become satisfied only when poverty is removed from the state. He urged for united efforts to ensure development.
At old age home: On his birthday, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan visited Anand Dham Old Age Home and sought senior citizens’ blessings. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan’s wife Smt. Sadhna Singh was also present on the occasion.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that blessings of senior citizens are like blessings of God. Senior citizens need love and support in the twilight of their lives. The State Government is making efforts to ensure that there is hope and confidence in the lives of senior citizens. Schemes like Mukhyamantri Teerth-Darshan Yatra have been launched in the state for senior citizens. He wishes health and well-being of all in the state. Institutions like Anand Dham are doing commendable work. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also inaugurated newly constructed rooms over there. Old age home’s Chairman Shri R.S. Mishra and Sewa Bharti Secretary Shri Pradeep Khandekar were also present on the occasion. Later, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan performed worship at Mata Mandir.
Greetings by BJP President Shri Rajnath Singh: National President of Bharatiya Janata Party Shri Rajnath Singh also extended greetings and best wishes to Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan at Chief Minister’s residence. Shri Rajnath Singh was accompanied by State BJP President Shri Narendra Singh Tomar and Organising Secretary Shri Arvind Menon.
Governor Shri Ram Naresh Yadav greeted the Chief Minister through a letter. Union Home Minister Shri Sushil Kumar Shinde and Leader of Opposition in Madhya Pradesh Assembly Shri Ajay Singh also extended birthday greetings to Shri Chouhan through letter.
