Orders issued for 8 per DA to government employees

Bhopal: The State Government has issued orders to sanction 8 percent dearness allowance to its officers and employees with retrospective effects from January 1, 2013. At present, DA is payable at the rate of 72 percent of basic pay + grade pay. It has been increased to 80 percent of basic pay + grade pay now. The amount of increased DA will be paid in cash.

These orders will also be applicable to employees drawing salaries under UGC and AICTE pay scales as also those getting salaries from work-charged and contingency funds.
