Grand conclusion of Foundation Day functions at Boat Club
Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day functions will conclude at a grand programme at 6 pm on November 8 on Boat Club Road. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan and other dignitaries are likely to participate in it. Arrangements for seating of about one lakh people have been made at VIP Road from Ret Ghat to Karbala as an auxiliary venue. Arrangements for traffic diversion and parking have been made for people’s convenience on that day. Traffic will be prohibited from 5 to 8 pm on Boat Club Road and VIP Road.
For common people, traffic will be totally prohibited from Roshanpura to Kamla Park, Lal Ghati to VIP Road, Royal Market Road, Ret Ghat to Karbala and Karbala to Ret Ghat, and Bharat Bhavan, CM House Gate No. 1 to Van Vihar.
Traffic will be diverted during concluding programme of Foundation Day functions. Vehicles from Lal Ghati to Old Bhopal will be diverted from GAD Crossing through swimming pool-Pari Bazaar, Sharma Colony, Bajariya Chouraha, Sindhi Colony, new Kabadkhana Road, Agrawal Dharmshala, Chhola Road, parallel road, railway station and Alpana trisection.
Similarly, vehicles from Lal Ghati to New Bhopal will be diverted from GAD crossing through Royal Market, Peer Gate, Moti Masjid, Ret Ghat and Roshanpura. Vehicles from New Bhopal to Lal Ghati will be diverted from Polytechnic crossing, Ret Ghat, Moti Masjid, Sadar Manzil and Royal Market upto Lal Ghati.
As per requirement, vehicles from Polytechnic College to Ret Ghat will be diverted from K.N. Pradhan Park and Gandhi Park via PHQ.
Parking arrangements for invitees will be at Boat Club Road, Ranjit Hotel and for common people in front of Bharat Bhavan, Doordarshan, Tagore Hostel, Ravindra Bhavan, Manas Bhavan, Hindi Bhavan, Sardar Patel Polytechnic College and MLB College.
One-way traffic will remain open from Karbala to Ret Ghat for common people
