National symposium on potato, onion and garlic at Indore on March 9

Bhopal: A national symposium is being held at Indore on March 9, 2013 for acquainting farmers of Madhya Pradesh with latest farming techniques of potato, onion and garlic. It will be inaugurated by Commerce & Industries Minister Shri Kailash Vijaywargiya at 11 am.
Farmers from all districts of the state have been invited to the symposium. Experts from Potato Research Institute, Shimla and onion and garlic experts from Pune will throw light at the symposium on the methods for better production, storage and marketing. Additional Chief Secretary and Agriculture Production Commissioner Shri M.M. Upadhyay will be specially present on the occasion
