Bhopal — The flagship ceremony ringing in week-long Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day celebrations across the state will be held at 1100 hours on Sunday at the Motilal Nehru Stadium, in the state capital. Governor Rameshwar Thakur will be the chief guest on the occasion.
The ceremony commences with flag hoisting and rendition of National Anthem and will be addressed by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, state Congress president Suresh Pachouri, state BJP president Narendra Singh Tomar and Leader of Opposition Jamuna Devi.
Several cultural events will mark the occasion.
Chief guest Governor Shri Rameshwar Thakur will administer oath to people and then address the ceremony that concludes with a rendition of the National Song Vande Mataram.
