Mindset about daughters in society needs to be changed: CM
Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Sant Samaj can play an important role in changing mindset about daughters in society. The Chief Minister was addressing a programme at Jain Sthanak Bhavan at Koh-e-Fiza in the presence of Mahasati Shri Kumudlata Ji here today. He sought blessings of Mahasati Shri Kumudlata Ji who is here for Chaturmas. Commerce & Industries Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya was also present on the occasion.
Greeting Jain seers having come for Chaturmas, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that one who wins self is real Jain. Heart and mind are purified by association with religion. Path of devotion has been described in all religions. Saints and seers inspire to work for country and society. Mahasati Shri Kumudlata Ji Maharaj said that saints belong to entire country. Simplicity and good conduct are always welcome. Jain Sangh’s President Shri Yashwant Singh Banthiya delivered the welcome address. Former Mayor Shri Sunil Sood and Jain devotees were also present on the occasion.
