Massive turnout at CM’s road show at Sagar
Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan held a road show at Sagar district headquarters this afternoon. During the show, the popular Chief Minister mixed up with the people and heard their problems. Passing through main roads of the city, the Chief Minister met people. Shri Chouhan was accorded affectionate and rousing welcome by all sections of society including women, youths and children with flowers and garlands. Girls and women standing on rooftops and galleries of houses showered flower petals on him. Shri Chouhan acknowledged greetings of people standing on both side of the road and also shook hands with them.
During the road show, some young girls stopped Shri Chouhan’s vehicle by waving hands and presented applications to their favourite Mama (maternal uncle). Office-bearers of Mahila Morcha presented silver dagger to the Chief Minister on the occasion. People including women and youths had thronged both sides of roads much before arrival of the Chief Minister at Sagar.
During the show, the Chief Minister unveiled a statue of Dr. Sir Hari Singh Gour at Teen Batti Chauraha. Transport Minister Shri Bhupendra Singh Thakur, MP Shri Laxminarayan Yadav, MLAs Shri Shailendra Jain and Shri Pradeep Lariya accompanied the Chief Minister in an open jeep.
Welcome at airstrip
Earlier, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan and in-charge minister Dr. Narottam Mishra were accorded welcome at Sagar helipad. Those who accorded the welcome included Panchayats & Rural Development Minister Shri Gopal Bhargava, Transport Minister Shri Bhupendra Singh Thakur, MP Shri Laxminarayan Yadav, MLAs Shri Shailendra Jain, Shri Pradeep Lariya, Shri Harvansh Singh Rathore, Smt. Parul Sahu, Mayor Smt. Pushpa Shilpi and Shri Narayan Prasad Kabirpanthi.
