Make Hariyali Mahotsav successful for environmental balance: CM

Bhopal: On the occasion of Hariyali Mahotsav, Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has urged state’s people to undertake maximum plantations and cooperate with the state government in efforts to maintain environmental balance.

Shri Chouhan said that Hariyali Mahotsav is an effort to inculcate love towards nature and create public awareness towards preservation/augmentation of forests. Lauding the target of plating one crore saplings, he stressed the need for post-plantation care of saplings. Cooperation of nature-lovers and common people is needed in this. The Chief Minister said that this will lead to development of villages and provide better employment opportunities to youths.

The Chief Minister has urged state’s people for active cooperation for success of Hariyali Mahotsav.
