Madhya Pradesh number one state in growth rate : CM

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan inaugurated and laid foundation stones for development works costing Rs. 29 crore 94 lakh 73 thousand at Sehore today. Fulfilling long-pending demand of Sehore residents, the Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone for a rail over-bridge to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 8 crore 16 lakh. He also laid foundation stones for 102 works costing Rs. 11 crore 43 lakh sanctioned under Mukhyamantri Adhosanrachna head. The Chief Minister also dedicated newly constructed Rs. 64 lakh district sports training centre.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that state’s growth rate has increased from minus 4 to 10 percent now due to efforts of the State Government. Madhya Pradesh has become number one state in growth rate. The Chief Minister said that democratic system has been strengthened in the country. State’s officers and employees work in the interest of people. Most of their problems have been redressed. Way is being explored for redressing remaining ones. The Chief Minister said that he had resolved to ensure 24X7 power supply in the state, which is nearing completion now.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan inaugurated composite district office’s building costing Rs. 9 crore 50 lakh. Following this, people of the district will no longer wander about to get works done since most of the government services will be available in single building.
