Madhya Pradesh Government’s schemes helpful for poor: CM

Bhopal: BJP Governments had undertaken so many development works done and public welfare schemes launched during last 8-9 years, no problem would have remained in the state. This was stated by Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan at village Khadawada in Mandsaur district today. On the occasion, he inaugurated 31 construction works costing about Rs. 16 crore. Food & Civil Supplies Minister and in-charge of the district Shri Paras Jain, Jail & Transport Minister Shri Jagdish Deora, State Tourism Development Corporation’s Chairman Dr. Mohan Yadav, Member of Parliament Shri Prabhat Jha, District Cooperative Bank’s Chairman Shri Rajendra Surana, Nagar Panchayat Chairman Shri Rajesh Choudhary, Shri Chetan Kashyap, State Planning Commission’s Member Shri Sudhir Gupta, ex-MLA Shri Rajesh Yadav and other public representatives were present on the occasion.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that like wheat, farmers will also be given bonus on maize. Shri Chouhan said that state has been brought in the category of developed states from the list of sick ones. About 14 lakh girls have been benefited under Ladli Laxmi Yojana in the state. He said that farmers are being provided loans at zero percent interest rate and bonus on support price for making agriculture profitable. Citizens of the state have started receiving 24X7 power supply. Electricity bills of the poor have been waived and Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana has been launched to provide entire month’s ration in just one day’s wages to the poor. Under the scheme, wheat and salt is being provided at the rate of Re. 1 per kg and rice at Rs. 2 per kg.

At village Semrol, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan directed to improve drinking water supply system. He said that TCS company has arrived at Indore due to which job opportunities will increase for students of information technology. He informed that a function will be held at Bhopal on August 26 to distribute Self-Employment Loan Distribution Letters simultaneously to 10 thousand youths under Mukhyamantri Yuva Swarozgar Yojana. Shri Chouhan said that survey for irrigation from Chambal river will be done for increasing irrigation facility in Mandsaur district.

At Khadawada, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan inaugurated 11 construction works costing about Rs. 4 crore. These include buildings of government high schools costing Rs. 34 lakh each at villages Dethli Buzurg, Antraliya, Doodhakheri, Badia, Iskmurar, Barkhera Gangasa and Guradiya Narsingh. Besides, he inaugurated Khadawada-Baniyakheri Road costing Rs. 33 lakh, Garoth-Khadawada Road costing Rs. 17 lakh, Chikaniya-Lambikheri Road costing Rs. 48 lakh, Jodma-Deedor Road costing Rs. 45 lakh and Garoth-Shamgarh Road costing Rs. 50 lakh.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also laid foundation stones for 20 construction works costing about Rs. 20 crore at Khadawada.
