Madhya Pradesh Civic Polls 2009: Ballot Papers, Not EVMs!

Bhopal  —  It will not be Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) but the good old ballot papers when 268 of the 358 civic bodies in Madhya Pradesh go to polls in two phases before December 20 this year.

Speaking to correspondents State Election Commissioner, AV Singh, said the schedule for the elections would be announced next week.

Singh informed that polls for the remaining 90 civic bodies would not be held at a later date due to some legal issues.
