Landmine Blast Injures 2 CRPF Jawans in Chh’garh
Raipur: In a land mine blast triggered by the Naxalites, two Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were injured in Dantewada district in Chhattisgarh on Saturday, said police.
According to police, the CRPF team was moving from Palner village towards Kuwangkoda in Dantewada district in a police convoy when the vehicle was blew up in the land mine blast and injured two jawans.
Police said that the Naxalites also opened fire on the CRPF team, to which jawans retaliated. Four Maoists guerrillas were captured while they were escaping in the nearby jungles, police added.
