land holders will get the patta: CM

Bhopal. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that land holders occupying land upto december 2006 will be given ‘patta’. Social Security Pension amount will be paid in cash under ‘Apki Pension, Apke Dwar’ Yojana. He said, government servants will be terminated from the job, if they snatch other’s rights and are indulged in corruption.

Shri Chouhan was addressing Antoday Mela and Jandarshan progamme in Damheri village of Anuppur district today.

The Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that land under possession of forest dwellers will not be taken back. Instead, they will be provided financial assistance for construction of house with patta. He said the Government will also provide patta to those who are holding land upto december 2006. The chief minister said, 2.16 lakh people have been provided patta so far.

The Chief Minister said that, pension under ‘Apki Pension, Apke Dwar’ scheme will be paid every month. Mobile banking facility will be launched for it. This facility will start from August 10 in Anuppur district. He said, rules related with payment under MANREGA, Social Security Pension and others will be simplified.

Chief Minister said camps will be held for resolving of pending cases in banks under self employment scheme. Intensive plantation drive will begin along the sides of Narmada river in November under Namami Devi Narmada programme. It will be started from Amarkantak.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan asked government staff to ensure benefits of the government schemes to public. No dereliction will be tolerated in this regard. Stringent punishment will be given in case of any irregularity in Rupee One kg Ration scheme to poorer. The Chief Minister distributed benefits worth Rs 23 crore 30 lakh to 2100 beneficiaries.
