Journeys to places of martyrdom and birth of martyrs will also be started

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that in the second phase of “Maa Tujhe Pranam” Yojana, journeys to places of martyrdom and birth of martyrs will also be started. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was launching “Maa Tujhe Pranam” Yojana here today. Minister of State for Sports & Youth Welfare Shri Brijendra Pratap Singh and MLA Shri Dhruv Narayan Singh were also present on the occasion.
At the function, the Chief Minister released brochure of the scheme. He handed over flags and insurance policies to leaders of various teams. He flagged off the teams.
Chief Minister Shri Choiuhan said that “Maa Tujhe Pranam” Yojana is scheme to instill patriotism among youths. Under the scheme, youths will perform Abhishek of international borders of the country with water form their villages. They apply Tilak with the soil where alert soldiers defended the country bravely. They will take pledge that to make sacrifices for the unity and integrity of the country. He said that only that country can survive, whose citizens have the spirit to cut their own throat and sacrifice it to the country.
Referring to the martyrs who laid down their lives for the sake of freedom of the country, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan memorials are being constructed on their places and martyrdom in the state. He said that about 30 thousand soldiers have died while defending the country’s freedom in extremely adverse conditions. Shourya Smarak is being constructed at Bhopal to perpetuate memories of these martyrs. The memorial will become a source of inspiration for patriots.
