Huge Cash, FDRs Recovered in Katni Tax Raids: Reports

Bhopal  —  The Income Tax department is reported to have recovered a huge amount of cash and Fixed Deposit Receipts (FDRs) following raids at the premises of a privately held mining firm in the Katni district of the state.

Media reports citing an unnamed IT official said several documents relating to the transactions of the firm were also seized during the raids.

They added that after the braids the p0romoter of the firm surrendered undisclosed income of Rs.12 crores to the department.
