Home Minister writes to Railway Board Chairman to increase Rail facilities

Bhopal: Home Minister Shri Umashankar Gupta has written a letter to Railway Board Chairman to provide proper railway facilities to residents of Bhopal. The Railway Board Chairman was at Bhopal on Saturday. In the letter, Shri Gupta also referred to letters written to Railway Ministers.

In view of problems of citizens, the Home Minister has urged to introduce weekly train every Friday from Habibganj to Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, Mumbai. Shri Gupta has written that a number of passengers from Bhopal visit Lord Krishna’s birthplace Mathura for Goverdhan Parikrama everyday. Therefore, Bhopal Express should be halted at Mathura and reservation quota in the train should also be increased.
Similarly, Shri Gupta has also urged to increase rail facilities for people from Bhojpur area. He has written in the letter that there is no proper rail facility for about 5 lakh Bhojpuri people living in and near Bhopal to visit their native areas in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. For this, Shri Gupta has urged to introduce a convenient train. He has also attached his letter a memorandum handed over by representatives of Bhojpur community.
