Governor Ram Naresh Yadav inaugurates Dental care Center

Bhopal: Governor Ram Naresh Yadav and Urban Administration and Development (UAD) Minister Babulal Gaur on Sunday inaugurated the State’s first ‘Dental world and oral cancer research centre’ here. The centre was developed by Dr Chandresh Shukla, vice president of Madhya Pradesh Dental Council.
On this occasion, AIIMS director Dr Sandeep Kumar and State Congress chief Kantilal Bhuria were also present. The centre was the first in MP to use peizon laser technology for dental diagnosis and will focus on to providing the world class treatment at affordable price. In this new dental care centre, 35,000 BPL card holders will be provided free dental treatment. People from media and police will also get free dental treatment in this centre.
Dental care centre is a state-of-the-art practice focusing on the patient experience and high-quality dentistry. The practice is completely digital and virtually paperless using the latest materials and techniques. There will be facilities of computerised cancer screening and X-ray etc in ‘Dental World and Oral Cancer Research Center’.
On the occasion, Dr Shukla said, “Madhya Pradesh has seen a surge of 23 per cent in dental patients every year. It is a matter of great concern that Bhopal has got maximum number of oral cancer patients in Asia, due to the changing lifestyle and eating habits. The awareness towards having a dental treatment is increasing day by day and the city is a potential market for the same with around 23,000 patients being treated every day.”
Dr Shukla informed that India has one of the highest rates of oral cancer and dental disorders in the world. More than 80,000 new cases are reported every year across the country. The NCRP study reported 35,000 cases of oral cancer in Madhya Pradesh alone in addition to the other oral disorders, we will focus on to use our expertise to give the best available solution in this direction.
