Gaur Welcomes Jaswant’s Expulsion

Welcoming expulsion of Jaswant Singh, senior BJP leader and Madhya Pradesh Urban Development Minister Babulal Gaur has described it as a ‘right step’.

On Jaswant’s views of Mohammad Ali Jinnah’s being a secular leader, Gaur said that it was something that could never be accepted by all patriotic Indians.

“There was no way in which Jinnah can ever be called a secular leader as he alone was most responsible for the partition of the country,” he said.

The minister said that describing Jinnah as a secular leader is just like showing disrespect to all the freedom fighters who had laid down their lives for the country, he said.

The decision to expel Singh would help the party, Gaur added.
