From MPSHC 4410 people going for Haj this year

BHOPAL: Total of 4,410 pilgrims from the Madhya Pradesh would go to perform Haj this year through the State Haj Committee, 2,205 people would go from Bhopal out of the figure.

Carrying 245 Haj pilgrims the first flight took off from Raja Bhoj International Airport on Wednesday. Since, it was the beginning of the pilgrimage this year, the flight left over three hours behind schedule, at 3.30 pm.

Noted cleric from the State capital Maulana Peer Saeed Mian Mujadidi, Rector of Dar-ul-Uloom Taj-ul-Masajid blessed the pilgrims while Madhya Pradesh State Haj Committee (MPSHC) chairman Sannawwar Patel flagged off the buses carrying pilgrims from the transit point Tajul Masajid to the airport.

Minorities Welfare Minister Ajay Vishnoi and Bhopal MP Kailash Joshi reached the airport to send to meet the pilgrims.

Also the Congress leaders from the State capital including Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) media committee chairman Manak Agarwal, Bhopal District Congress Committee president and former legislator PC Sharma, MPCC secretary Nasir Islam, leader of opposition in the Bhopal Municipal Corporation Sagheer Ahmed, corporators Rehan Ahmed and Syed Shahid Ali were especially present to see off the pilgrims at the airport on the occasion.

A flight would take off each day from the same airport till October 26, and later the flights would be available from Indore from October 26. Indore is the second embarkation point of the State.

The last flight from Indore would be on October 30. There would be a flight daily from Bhopal between October 19 and 26 except for October 25 when there would be two flights, similarly there would be two flights daily from Indore between October 26 and 30 except for October 26 when there would be single flight.
