Five Sentenced to Life Imprisonment in Narsinghgarh in Murder Case
In a murder case, five persons have been awarded life sentence by a local court in Narsinghgarh, reported PTI citing prosecution.
Additional Session Judge BR Patil gave the verdict on Friday against them for killing one Sunil (22) on March 15, 2009 after a minor dispute at village Semla Ramsingh in the district, said report.
They are Ramphal, Aabid, Qadir, Shahid and another Aabid.
The accused assaulted Sunil with knives and later ran away from the spot after the dispute over laying power supply cable from a transformer.
When they were illegally laying power supply cable, Sunil, who stood nearby, opposed them after which they attacked him with knives.
According to prosecution, Sunil was rushed to the hospital in Bhopal but he succumbed to his injuries en route, said report.
The court also imposed a fine of Rs1,000 each against them, said report.
