Effective steps in state for economic upliftment of weaker sections: Gaur
Bhopal: Urban Administration & Development Minister Shri Babulal Gaur has said that the State Government has made effective efforts for economic upliftment of weaker sections. Welfare schemes are being run for the benefit of every section of society in the state. Shri Gaur launched Kesh-Shilpi Kalyan Yojana-213 at Jabalpur today. On the occasion, he also distributed photo identity cards to surveyed hair dressers. MLA Shri Narendra Tripathi and Jabalpur Mayor Shri Prabhat Sahu were also present on the occasion.
Minister Shri Gaur said that hair dressers have been discharging an important responsibility in society since ancient times. The State Government has chalked out Kesh-Shilpi Kalyan Yojana keeping their interests in view. Through the scheme, hair dressers will be provided benefits of social security, maternity benefits, scholarships, assistance for daughter’s marriage, medical grant and suitable spots for carrying out business. Mayor Shri Prabhat Sahu also addressed the function.
Urban Administration Minister inspected the site for construction of Rs. 2 crore building of first government divisional office at Jabalpur. Shri Gaur said that urban administration is an important administrative service. He said that divisional officers of Urban Administration & Development Department will be fully equipped. He said that offices of the urban administration at different places in Jabalpur city will be housed under one roof in this bulding. He also directed to include water harvesting in the building’s design.
