Directives to collectors regarding higher education loan

Bhopal; The State Government has issued instructions to collectors regarding higher education loan. In a letter to all collectors, Commissioner Institutional Finance Shri Ashish Upadhyay has said that it has come to the notice of the State Government that banks are showing reluctance to entertain applications beyond a particular number.
Shri Upadhyay told collectors that targets indicated to districts are minimal. Therefore, banks be advised to sanction all applications of eligible persons. Further, the banks may also be advised to use “On-line Higher Education Loan Application Monitoring System developed by Madhya Pradesh government for submitting higher education loan applications.
