Diamond industry to established in Bhopal soon

Bhopal: The Chief Executive Officer of Messrs World Wide Diamond Manufacturers Private Limited Vishakhapatnam Shri Mer Bokrij, along with his team met Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan here today. Shri Bokrij apprised the Chief Minister about the setting up of export oriented diamond processing and polishing unit worth Rs. 150 crore at Bhopal. This will generate employment for about 2,500 persons.
Shri Bokrij urged Chief Minister Shri Chouhan to launch this unit in the first week of July. All the formalities for setting up the unit have been completed. The Development Commissioner, SEZ, Indore has approved this project as 100 percent export-oriented unit. The State Government has issued Kimberly Process Certificate for import and export of raw diamonds and Madhya Pradesh Laghu Udyog Nigam will be the nodal agency for it.
Secretary to CM Shri S.K. Mishra and TRIFAC Managing Director Shri Arun Bhatt were also present on the occasion.
