CM urges to youths, develop quality, become entrepreneur

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that youths of the state should development quality of entrepreneurship. Youths should establish self-employment and also give jobs to others. Shri Chouhan was laying foundation stone of Rs. 127 crore Sonepur medium irrigation project at in Kareli Janpad Panchayat in Sagar today. Shri Chouhan also inaugurated and laid foundation stones of works to the tune of Rs. 400 crore. Finance Minister Shri Raghavji, Panchayats & Rural Development Minister Shri Gopal Bhargava, MP Shri Shivraj Singh Lodhi and MLA Shri Bhanu Rana were present on the occasion.
The Chief Minister said that the government will promote small industries in villages to provide employment to youths. Apart from loan guarantee, the government will also arrange training of young entrepreneurs. Besides, interest subsidy will also be given for 5 years. He said tha tradional small industries will be set up in rural areas. Rural craftspersons will not be allowed to become unemployed. Such crafstpersons will be provided upto Rs. 50 thousand loans on which the government will give Rs. 10 thousand subsidy.
Shri Chouhan rural haats will be set up in small villages in which there will be 7-8 shops. These shops will be of ironing clothes, carpentry, pottery, hair saloon, cobbler and other craftspersons. In this way, employment will be provided to about 5 lakh craftspersons in the state in the villages itself. He directed officers to sanction 1000 cases under Mukhyamantri Yuva Rozgar Yojna in Devri area. Referring to Atal Jyoti Abhiyan, the Chief Minister said that 24-hour power supply will be started in Sagar district by May-end.
Panchayats & Rural Development Minister Shri Bhargava said that Kesli development block has been gifted such a large irrigation scheme. This will lead to increase in crop production and bring about prosperity in the area. He informed women of the area have started production of turmeric and milk through self-employment. This has provided employment to 5 thousand women.
Chief Minister’s announcements
Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan made a number of announcements for Devri area. Survey of water augmentation works and canals worth Rs. 1.50 crore is one of major announcements. He accorded sanction to Surajpur tank costing Rs. 70 crore 60 lakh. Another announcements made by Shri Chouhan included upgradation of schools, tribal boys hostel and skill development centre in Kesli, new industrial area in Chhevla Devri, start of ADJ court following sanction by High Court and start of college at Kesli from next academic year.
Rs. 400 crore works inaugurated and foundation stone laid
At the programme, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid foundation of construction works costing Rs. 400 crore. This includes inauguration of Rs. 46 crore works and remaining foundation stone laying. He also laid foundation of Sonepur medium irrigation project which will irrigate 7000 thousand hectare in 35 villages benefiting 2305 farmers. The Chief Minister inaugurated and laid foundation stones of 28 construction works of rural roads, stop-dams etc. costing Rs. 13 crore 9 lakh. The Chief Minister also benefited beneficiaries under various schemes.
