CM Shri Chouhan announces construction of stadium at Dobi
Bhopal : Sports are effective medium to keep fit along with entertainment, stated Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan while distributing prizes to winner teams of fifth state level Dobi premier league at village Dobi in Sehore district today. The Chief Minister announced construction of a stadium at the place where Dobi tournament is played.
He said that it is necessary to be tension-free after appearing at competitive exams and sports are necessary for this. The Chief Minister announced holding of sports competitions in the area including MLA Cup Cricket etc.
The Chief Minister sanctioned all the demands contained in memorandum presented by tournaments’ organizer Chandu Patel.
The Chief Minister also enjoyed thrilling final moments of the match. Chouhan gave away Rs. 51 thousand to winner Shahganj cricket team and Rs. 25 thousand and trophy to runners up Semri cricket team. Chouhan announced to give Rs. 25 thousand each to both the teams and Rs. 5 thousand each incentive to all 16 participating teams.
Revenue and Rehabilitation Minister and in-charge of district Rampal Singh, Forest Development Corporation’s Chairman Guru Prasad Sharma, Chairman of Mineral Development Corporation Shiv Chaube were present on the occasion.
