CM Pays Floral Tributes to Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya

Bhopal  —  Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan Thursday paid floral tributes to Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya, best known for his philosophy of ‘Ekaatm Manavvad’ (integral humanism), at his statue at the Lal Ghati square in the state capital.

Among those who offered tributes to the departed leader, on the occasion of his 42nd death anniversary, were Home Minister Umashankar Gupta, MP Kailash Joshi, Mayor Krishna Gaur, MLAs Jitendra Daga & Dhruv Narayan Singh, chairperson of Bhopal Development Authority Surendranath Singh, vice-president of MP Sports Council Om Yadav, corporator Surjeet Singh Chouhan, Rameshwar Sharma and former MLA Ramesh Sharma ‘Guttu Bhaiya’.

Born in village Dhankia of Rajasthan on Sepember 25, 1916, Upadhyaya was a key leader of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh. He was found dead at the Mughal Sarai railway yard on February 11, 1968.
