CM Orders Magisterial Probe into Singrauli Killing

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has ordered a magisterial inquiry into the killing of ten persons in the blasts in two factories in Baidhan industrial area in Singrauli.

Chouhan sanctioned Rs one lakh ex-gratia to next of kin of the deceased persons, Rs 10 thousands to those seriously injured and Rs 5 thousands to persons who have suffered minor injuries.

The Chief Minister asked Minister for Forests Rajendra Shukla to rush to Singrauli to monitor rescue and relief works there. Chouhan also instructed the district administration to undertake relief and rescue works on a war footing.

He offered his condolences the bereaved families and asked the district administration to provide every possible assistance to them.
