CM of Madhya Pradesh inspects parade unfurls national flag at Jabalpur

BHOPAL (MPINFO): The 63rd Republic Day was observed all over the country. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister celebrated 26th Jan in Jabalpur district with enthusiasm and fervour.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan unfurled the national flag and inspected a joint parade at the main function held at Pt. Ravishankar Shukla Stadium ground at Jabalpur district headquarters. The Chief Minister felicitated freedom fighters with shawls and coconuts at the function where schoolchildren also staged attractive cultural programmes. The Chief Minister also released colourful balloons symbolising peace and amity.

Chouhan unfurled the flag at 9 am. Later, he along with collector Gulshan Bamra and Superintendent of Police Santosh Singh inspected the joint parade in an open Jeep.

CM greeted people of Madhya Pradesh on the occasion of 63th Republic Day. He started reading out his message amidst chants of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’. He said that this day is the day for rededicating ourselves to the values and pledges which have laid foundation of our Swaraj (self-rule).

He said that our concept of the government’s functioning and development depends on the co-participation of society and administration. Therefore, the state government and administration are committed to progress and prosperity of common citizens. The Chief Minister said that the State Government has included all sections of society in the development journey of the state.
