CM Meets Prospective Investors, Film Producers in Mumbai
Bhopal: Aggressively seeking fresh investments for the state, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan met prospective investors and film producers in the commercial capital Mumbai on Thursday and discussed investment opportunities in the state.
The dialogue with the film producers revolved around the fully equipped film production facility proposed on the outskirts of Bhopal.
Attempting to attract more film production units to the scenic locations in the state, the Madhya Pradesh government has announced a 50 per cent concession in entertainment tax to all films shot in the state, he said.
The programme was organised by MP information centre in Mumbai and MP Trade & investment facilitation corporation under the Destination MP-Investment Drive.
The chief minister highlighted the construction of 45,000 km new roads the provision of round-the-clock power supply to entrepreneurs, during the talks.
