Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that it is the happiest moment when my daughters meet me. Ladli Laxmi Yojana has changed the lives of daughters. There was a time when the mother wanted only a son. Earlier, the daughter was considered as a burden and the son as a total lamp, but today it is not so. Daughters are setting records in every field. He said this in the Maa Tujhe Pranam program organized at Rabindra Bhawan.
Under the “Maa Tujhe Pranam” scheme, 120 Ladli Lakshmi daughters of Madhya Pradesh have left for an experience trip to the Bagha-Hussaini Wala border. The most beautiful moment for me is when I hold my daughters and caress them. A scheme has changed the lives of daughters and has worked to change the outlook of the society. There was a time when a mother wanted only a son to be born in the house. Mostly it used to be like this. Son means the lamp of the family, the support of the stick of old age. Daughter means burden, this thing used to trouble the mind that why the difference between son and daughter? Then the thought came in my mind that daughters have to be made a blessing, Khelo India was organized very beautifully. I was saddened to see. Daughters are setting new records in every field. Daughters are not less, daughters are four steps ahead of sons. A thought came in my mind that if a daughter is born, if a millionaire is born, then the parents will also think that let the daughter come. After that Ladli Laxmi Yojana was made.Ladli Laxmiya going on this experience tour will visit Bagha-Hussaini Wala Border (Amritsar Punjab), Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh and Ramteerth.
