CM attends funeral of Shri Harvansh Singh
Bhopal: Vidhan Sabha Deputy Speaker late Shri Harvansh Singh was consigned to flames with full state honours at village Chhapara Khurd in Seoni district today. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan and large number or political leaders and common people attended the funeral.
The Chief Minister placed a wreath over the body of late Shri Harvansh Singh and shouldered his funeral bier. The Chief Minister participated in the funeral procession for 7 kilometers from village Barra to Chhapara Khurd.
Addressing a condolence meeting, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan paid tributes to late Shri Harvansh Singh saying that he was above politics. He was a symbol of sober and courteous politics. The state has lost a dedicated leader in his death. He prayed to Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family to bear this loss.
