CM appeal to plant maximum saplings
Bhopal. On the occasion of Hariyali Mahotsav-2016, Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has appealed to state’s people to plant maximum number of saplings. He said that rich green heritage of Madhya Pradesh will become richer with people’s cooperation.
Shri Chouhan said that Indian culture is basically nature-based. A person connects with nature right since birth. Worshipping nature and environmental conservation are intrinsic to Indian ethos since ancient times. It is necessary to promote our culture of respecting nature to save the world from ill effects of global warming.
Shri Chouhan said that maximum number of saplings should be planted by people of the state under forestry development schemes and also nurture them. This holy work should be given form of a mass movement.
