CM announces Rs. 5 crore assistance for Uttarakhand calamity-affected people

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has announced assistance worth Rs. 5 crore from the State Government for relief to people affected by floods and excessive rains in various parts of Uttarakhand state. Shri Chouhan has also expressed solidarity with the affected persons. Secretary in CM Secretariat Shri Hari Ranjan Rao will monitor relief and rescue operations. Shri Rao’s mobile No. is 9425040630.
A helpline has also been set up in the office of Resident Commissioner, Madhya Pradesh, New Delhi for extending help to people of Madhya Pradesh affected by Uttarakhand natural calamity. Its telephone No. is 011-23019899.
Meanwhile, a special monitoring cell for relief and rescue works has been set up at CM’s office. Under Secretary Shri Neeraj Vashishth has been appointed its coordinating officer. His mobile number is 9425093142.
Madhya Pradesh State Disaster Management Emergency Control Room has been set up for extending help to people of Madhya Pradesh affected by Uttarakhand natural calamity. Its telephone number is 0755-2556422. District Commandant Shri Santosh Jat is in-charge of the control room. His mobile no. is 09926769808 on which he can be contacted by the affected persons.
