Chouhan Meeting Earns 33000 MT Fertiliser for State

With Union Chemical & Fertilizer Minister Azhagiri away on tour, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan met Satish Chandra Joint Secretary Chemical & Fertilizer Government of India at MP Bhawan in the national capital on Tuesday.

Chouhan asked the Central representative for an early release of Fertilizer for the state.

Chandra assured the Chief Minister of immediate allotment of 33000 MT of Fertilizer to the state.

He further assured the chief minister that the state will get a steady and adequate supply of fertilizer.

Chouhan said that at present the state requires one lakh 82 thousand MT of fertilizer and at present only 74 thousand MT has been given.

Chouhan asked for a regular supply of fertilizer for Rabi season. For this the officials of state government will be in regular touch with the officials of the Ministry.

Resident Commissioner Bimal Julka, Special Commissioner Anil Jain and Secretary to Chief Minister SK Mishra were present at the meeting.
