Chouhan Inaugurates New Jaypee Cement Plant at Sidhi
Bhopal — Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Friday inaugurated a cement manufacturing facility manufacturing facility established by the blue-chip Jaypee Cement in village Baghwar of Sidhi district in the state.
After inaugurating the plant, with an annual capacity of 20 lakh tones, Chouhan laid the foundation stone at the super thermal power station being developed by the Jaypee Group in village Nigrie of the Singrauli district.
Ministers for Commerce and Industries Kailash Vijayvargiya, Minister of State for Mineral Resources Rajendra Shukla and chief secretary Rakesh Sahni were present on the occasion.
On his arrival at the Baghwar premises Chouhan was accorded a floral welcome by Executive Chairman of the Jaypee Group, Manoj Gaur, Managing Director Sunny Gaur and other officials.
