Chief Minister urges to help Uttarakhand calamity-affected people

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has appealed to the people to contribute to Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for financial assistance to Uttarakhand calamity-affected people. In his appeal, Shri Chouhan has urged people to donate liberally for rehabilitating families affected by calamity in Uttarakhand. He said that everyone’s cooperation is necessary to tackle this enormous disaster. Pilgrims from every part of the country had visited Uttarakhand for Darshan. So, Kedarnath disaster has nation-wide impact. He appealed to people to come forward for help with self-inspiration.
As per Chief Minister’s appeal, people can contribute through cheque or draft in the name of Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (Uttarakhand Flood Relief) at Chief Minister’s office, Madhya Pradesh Mantralaya, Vallabh Bhavan, Bhopal-462004. Besides, amounts can also be directly deposited in bank account number 33074105684 of Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (Uttarakhand Flood Relief) in State Bank of India’s Vallabh Bhavan branch whose SBIN code number is 0001056. Donated amount will be tax-free under section 80 of Income Tax Act.
Shri Chouhan has said that everyone knows about massive disaster in Uttarakhand. He said that this is not a tragedy of one state, but of entire country. Every citizen of the country is precious. Every life is priceless. Madhya Pradesh stands by affected families in their hour of crisis. Shri Chouhan said that the State Government has made every possible effort to help affected people from its resources and is committed to help them.
