Attempting to conduct fair board examinations in the state, Chhattisgarh Secondary Education Council has decided to make videos of the examinees writing their papers.
The decision comes in view of the large-scale cheating during the 10th and 12th examination at Janjgir Champa district.
The Council has directed invigilators to make all efforts, including videography inside the examination halls, to arrest the unfair practice.
The Block Education Officers have been directed to ensure the fair and cheating-free conduct of examinations.
The authorities have also been directed to capture pictures of those assisting the unfair means to the examinees and file complaints on the basis of the pictures and the videos, they said.
Janjgir Champa district Collector T C Mahavar said that strict action will be taken against officials who will be found violating the Council directives.
The authorities have been directed to prevent any kind of assembly inside the circumference of 100 metres of the examination centres, he said.
