Cabined decides to transfer 138 acre land for setting up Plastic Park

Bhopal: A cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan today endorsed transferring of 138 acre land of Audyogik Vikas Nigam Bhopal to special purpose vehicle for setting up a Plastic Park at village Tamot in Raisen district. Besides, exemption to transferred land from registration fee and stamp duty was also endorsed. Madhya Pradesh Audyogik Kendra Vikas Nigam has been appointed nodal agency for its implementation. Name of the special purpose vehicle will be Madhya Pradesh Plastic Park Development Corporation Ltd.
Provision of special common facilities centre has been made for plastic industry in this park. About 150 industrial units will be set up in the park giving jobs to about 25 thousand persons directly and indirectly. At present, 30 industrialists/investors have deposited amounts for acquiring shares in the park. Evincing interest in this park, All-India Plastic Manufacturers Association Mumbai and its members have signed MoU with TRIFAC for bringing major investment in plastic sector.
Building construction: The cabinet sanctioned Rs. 150 crore for construction of buildings of tahsil, district and divisional offices under 12th Plan. These buildings were recommended by Project Examination Committee.
The cabinet also sanctioned Rs. 90 crore for construction of residential buildings in tahsils with lesser population under 12th Plan. These buildings were also recommended by Project Examination Committee.
DMIC : The cabinet endorse state support agreement, shareholders agreement draft and investment node-level special purpose vehicle. These agreements are to be signed with DMIC Trust New Delhi in connection with Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor Project. The project is being implemented by the Union Government with the financial assistance of Japanese Government. It aims at ensuring international level infrastructure development, creating suitable and long-term atmosphere for investment and integrated development of the area. Under the project, Pithampur-Dhar-Mhow investment region is being developed first. Under the project, Central financial assistance worth Rs. 2500-3000 crore will be provided through special purpose vehicle in next 5 years. There will be 50-50 percent partnership of DMIC Trust and State in this.
New posts: The cabinet sanctioned 62 posts in addition to currently sanctioned 213 posts in the departmental structure in Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation.
The cabinet decided to create one additional post of Additional Excise Commissioner to strengthen administration of Excise Commissioner Organisation.
The cabinet permitted to continue temporary post of Commissioner Tourism from March 1, 2013 to February 28, 2018.
Ashrams-hostels: In deference to Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s announcement, the cabinet sanctioned opening of one boys and one girls ashram at village Mooltan in Khargone district and post-matric hostel at Ashok Nagar and sanctioned posts for these institutions.
The cabinet endorsed lump sum payment of overdue amounts of national corporations through grant worth Rs. 29 crore 91 lakh by the State Government to Madhya Pradesh Tribal Finance and Development Corporation.
MNREGA Lokpal: The cabinet endorsed Mahatma Gandhi Rashtriya Grameen Rozgar Guarantee (Lokpal Ki Niyuktiyan, Shaktiyan Evam Karttavya) Madhya Pradesh Niyam 2013 for smooth functioning of Lokpal institution set up to dispose of complaints received regarding implementation of Mahatma Gandhi National Employment Guarantee Act.
The cabinet decided to extend the term of Rajya Samanya Nirdhan Varg Kalyan Ayog upto January 27, 2014.
