BMC to Assign Tax Accounts to New Wards by April 30
BHOPAL — Setting a deadline for updating its tax records in accordance with the recent delimitation exercise, the Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) has decided to complete the activity by the end of month.
The delimitation exercise altered the geographic boundaries of several municipal wards and also added 4 new ones, taking the total number of wards in the state capital to 70 from an earlier 66.
The process of shifting of property and water tax accounts to respective wards is underway and will now be completed by April 30.
