Big auto companies stepping towards small cities with help of Auto Expos

BHOPAL: Auto Expo 2012 going to be organise from 5 Feb in Bhopal the capital of Madhya Pradesh. According to companies it is expected to be a hit show. Trade-fair run for 4 days, where companies showcase their various segment cars.

According to reports BMW Sales Consultant, Nilesh Tiwari said, “Our target to begin with is to sell 20 cars, but if the current trend is anything to follow, we will exceed expectations this year (2012)”.

In next finical quarter it is expected that BMW is going to launch its own services center in Madhya Pradesh.

The renowned SUV and sports car maker Jaguar Land Rover is also about to step in small cities’ markets and soon going to open its showroom in Indore though it is not confirmed yet, since selection of dealer in under-process.

Auto-Expo, Jaguar which was listed at a cost of 96 Lakh INR, whereas, Land Rover was tagged at a price of 41 lakh INR. Company is already able to sell couple of units in Madhya Pradesh market, and another dozen of booked vehicles are about to arrive, said sources.

Mitsubishi is also about to enter in Bhopal market with its luxury sedan “Lancer Evolution X”, commonly known as Evo 10, which will cost you around 50 Lakh INR.

Industries like Toyota, Nissan, Hyundai, BMW, Jaguar, Maruti Suzuki, Renault and Mahindra and Mahindra are moving towards small Indian cities hoping to expand their range and reach.
