Bhopal to get new Boat Club at lower lake

Bhopal. Good News for Bhopalites. Soon they will get an attractive new Boat club at lower lake. Tourism Department officers has informed Urban Administration & Development Minister Shri Babulal Gaur on Wednesday during his visit to the Upper and Lower Lakes.

Shri Gaur instructed to complete projects on beautification and development of the areas around the Upper and Lower Lakes at the earliest. He said that a platform should be constructed at the earliest for placing a railway engine to be provided by the Indian Railways over there. He also called for expeditious reconstruction of the Yacht Club. Attractive lights should also be installed alongside the banks of the lake from the Boat Club upto Kamla Park. He instructed officers to work on the proposed scheme of floating garden in the Upper Lake.

At Neelam Park, Shri Gaur instructed to repair boundary wall of the Lower Lake. The Urban Administration Minister informed that the department has sanctioned Rs. 20 lakh for development of the Lower Lake, Rs. 20 lakh for Shahpura Lake and Rs. 30 lakh for Hathaikhera.

Officers of the Tourism Department informed that an attractive floating club will be set up in the Lower Lake. Landscaping of garden will be made for the convenience of tourists besides cafeteria and sitting arrangements on the lake’s banks.
