Bhopal: Congress files plaint against Bhargava, Shivraj & Nandkumar

Congress has complained against leader of Opposition Gopal Bhargava, ex-CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan and ex-state BJP president Nandkumar Singh Chauhan. In its complaint against Gopal Bhargava, Congress has mentioned incident of Shivpuri where Bhargava had allegedly openly threatened government servants. Bhargava had said- ‘‘Note down the names of officers and we will deal with them after elections.’’ He had gone there to participate in nomination process of BJP candidate KP Yadav. Congress has said that Bhargava’s open threat to government servants tantamount to violation of poll code.

Congress has lodged two complaints against ex-CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan. It has accused Chouhan of spreading lies among people about waiving of loans of farmers. In its second complaint, Congress had raised objections to Chouhan’s statement in Bhind, where he had said that he had finished dacoits but now dacoits famished for 15 years have come to loot.

In another complaint, Congress has complained against ex-BJP state chief Nandkumar Chauhan for his statement on Congress chief Rahul Gandhi. Commenting on Gandhi, Chauhan had said that Rahul Gandhi will introduce a machine that will turn man into a woman. Congress said that this was insult of women and a personal attack on Rahul Gandhi and violation of Model Code of Conduct.
