APL to Set up 1320 MW Coal-based Thermal Power Plant in Chhindawara
Gujarat-based Adani Power Ltd (APL) is going to establish a coal-based thermal power project in Chhindawara district, reported PTI.
Adani Power MP Ltd, which is a subsidiary of USD 5 billion Adani group, invited bids through international competitive bidding for 1320 super critical parameters thermal power project, said report.
It may be mentioned that Adani group is in the process of setting up power projects in Gujarat, Maharashtra and Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh is the latest state to have come on its radar.
APL is establishing a 4620 MW power plant in Mundra in Gujarat and two units of 330 MW each have already been synchronized. Dahej is another location in the state where APL is setting up a 2640 MW power plant.
The company is also setting up a 3300 MW power plant at Tiroda in Maharashtra while a 1320 MW project will be set up in Kawai in Rajasthan.
