Always remember spirit of ‘country first’: CM

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has urged to always remember spirit of ‘country first’, work with total commitment and boost glory of the country. Youths should harbour spirit of patriotism in their hearts and extend every possible cooperation in country’s progress. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan was addressing a group of youths who called on him at CM’s residence after returning from visit to country’s borders under “Maa Tujhe Pranam Yojana” here today.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the State Government has launched Maa Tujhe Pranam Yojana to enable youths to visit country’s borders to see under which circumstances army personnel are defending the country’s borders. How rigorous life they lead. He said that salutation to our country’s borders instills a sense of devotion towards our country and braveness. We can sacrifice everything for country in times of crisis. He said that Shourya Smarak to perpetuate memories of martyrs is being constructed at Bhopal. He wished bright future to the youths.
The youths performed Tilak of Chief Minister Shri Chouhan with soil of country’s border brought by them. Sushri Harishita Verma, Poorvi Gupta, Geetanjali Vyas, Ranu Ahirwar and Kanchan Singh share their experiences of the journey. They said that soldiers have also lauded Maa Tujhe Pranam Yojana. Through the scheme, youths got the opportunity to visit country’s borders and understand situation prevailing there. They also got information about defence arrangements of the country. They understood soldiers’ life from close quarters. This group visited Kochi, Tanot Mata Ka Mandir, Longowal border, Bagha border and Hussainiwala. Principal Secretary to CM Shri Manoj Shrivastava and Director Sports Shri Shailendra Shrivastava were also present on the occasion.
