All rural households to get 24-hour power supply in next 2 months: CM

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that all the rural households in the state will start getting 24-hour power supply in the next two months. Shri Chouhan was addressing farmers after simultaneous inauguration and foundation laying of 913 works to the tune of Rs. 114 crore at Bhander in Datia district today. Public Health & Family Welfare Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra, MP Shri Ashok Argal, local MLAs and public representatives were present on the occasion.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that with the cooperation of all, he has been able to make Madhya Pradesh pioneer state in the country in growth rate. Infrastructure has been constructed and agriculture has been made profitable. The State Government has chalked out welfare schemes for all the sections of society. The Chief Minister announced Rs. 14 crore for Bhander’s piped water scheme and Rs. 1 crore for city’s development and Rs. 7 crore 40 lakh for construction of bridge along with ramp near Taidot over Pahunch river. He also announced early completion of Bhander-Sarsai Road and repair broken canals.
At the programme, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also handed over keys to tractors to farmers, cheques under Bal Hriday Upchar Yojna and financial assistance to farmers. He also gave away Nirmal Gram Puraskar to 10 villages. Health Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra and MP Shri Ashok Argal also spoke on the occasion.
