Ailing ‘Buaji’ Airlifted to Mumbai
Bhopal: Top Congress leader and leader of the Opposition in Madhya Pradesh Assembly Jamuna Devi, was flown to Mumbai by a state plane Monday evening.
Jamunba Devi, affectionately referred to as ‘Buaji,’ was suffering from high fever and will now undergo treatment at the Lilavati Hospital, said PTI citing unnamed sources.
Earlier in the day, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan visited Jamuna Devi at a private hospital in the state capital.
Following advice from doctors attending on the leader, Chouhan directed officials to make arrangements necessary to shift her to Mumbai.
She is suffering from fever and some other ailments, an official said.
