After relief operations, send medicines and doctors as per requirement: CM

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan undertook high-level review of flood situation after three rounds of aerial survey of affected areas here today. He directed to send medicines and doctors as per requirement after relief operations.

It was informed that flood waters are receding. Due to administration’s alertness and timely relief and rescue operations, there has been less loss of life and property in affected areas. People were shifted to safer places in time. Immediate relief and rescue operations on the directives of the Chief Minister boosted morale of people and they extended optimum cooperation to local administration.
Giving directives for providing all facilities immediate after restoration of normal life the wake of recession of water, the Chief Minister said that preparations should be made to provide assistance as per enhanced amount against losses to crops, houses and lives. There will be no financial restraint in it. It was informed at the meeting that no damage has been done in Kharone, Barwani and Dhar. Water is receding fast.
Chief Secretary Shri R. Parasuram, DGP Shri Nandan Dube, Additional Chief Secretary Home Shri I.S. Dani, Principal Secretary to CM Shri Manoj Shrivastava and Principal Secretaries of Water Resources and Narmada Valley Development departments were present.
