Adequate funds allocated for development of cities

Bhopal: Urban Administration Minister Shri Babulal Gaur has said that large number of schemes have been sanctioned to ensure drinking water supply in cities. State Government has allocated adequate funds for development of cities. Shri Gaur was laying foundation stone for Narmada project costing Rs. 8 crore 47 lakh at Mahugaon in Indore district today. He also laid foundation stone for Narmada project costing Rs. 5 crore at Manpur Nagar Panchayat.

Urban Administration Minister Shri Gaur said that adequate funds have been allocated to urban bodies for development of facilities like roads, power, water etc. He directed urban bodies to pay special attention to increase their revenue. Industries Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya said that Mahugaon and Manpur were facing drinking water problem since long. These projects will supply adequate water to people. Shri Gaur also laid foundation of a Rs. 2 crore CC road at Manpur.
